Friends of the Madrid Public Library are having their book sale to coincide with the city's Annual City Wide Garage Sale on Saturday, May 12th, from 8:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.  Depending on the success of this sale, the Friends might keep this date as their official Book Sale day, or add it as a 2nd book sale.  The Library has received another huge number of books for their sale and if donations continue to come in at the rate that they do, it will probably be necessary to hold another sale the weekend before Labor Day.
